LANSING, Ill. (June 7, 2023) – Though the weather was decidedly cool by evening, the sense of community was warm at Lansing’s outdoor venue, Fox Pointe. The first evening of the 2023 season opened with Chicole, an acoustic duo, at 6 p.m. By 7:30 p.m. when Dick Diamond and the Dusters took the stage, hundreds of people filled the Fox Pointe lawn.
Fox Pointe Director Ken Reynolds estimated up to 1,800 people came out for opening night of the 2023 season at Fox Pointe. It was nice to get back out nd enjoy some music ! Rich’s band wwad great as usual. To bad he did not have control over ths heat . I had to leave aboout half way through. Everything was good but the food lines. They need to come up with a new system of food pick up !
