Local Sierra Club to host ‘Members’ Slides Night’

CHICAGO, Ill. (January 8, 2022) – The Sauk-Calumet Sierra Club Group will be having its next meeting on Monday, January 9, 7:15 p.m. on the Zoom online platform. The program will be “Members’ Slides Night,” an annual showing of nature photos taken by Sierra Club members during the past year.

“In prior years,” said a release provided by Sierra Club member Gregory Ott, “we’ve seen photos from great world nature sites, like the Okavango Delta in Africa, the Kodiak Islands in Alaska, and the Boundary Waters of Minnesota and Canada. But most slides will be of local natural areas, like forest preserves or even backyard gardens.”

All meetings are free and open to Sierra Club members as well as the general public. Those interested in joining the program virtually can use this link to register:
