Susan Orich, nee Stamos, age 72, resident of Lansing, Illinois, formerly of South Chicago, passed away peacefully in her home on August 5, 2022, due to complexities of Alzheimer’s Disease.
Beloved wife of Paul Orich; loving mother of Nikki (Dan) Burk and Suzanne (Russell) Peterlin; devoted Granny of Emma, Tommy, and Nate Burk; and dear sister of Carrie Stamos, sister-in-law of Carol (late Bill) Bartlett, and aunt to Kate and Laura Stamos. She was preceded in death by her parents Pete and Carolyn, and brothers William and John Stamos.
Sue lived a selfless, quiet life, taking pleasure in simple things such as gardening, singing, and dancing. Her empathetic nature was impressive, always showing compassion and concern for all creatures great and small. She enjoyed passing the time doing crossword puzzles, spending time with family — especially her grandchildren — and indulging in a great mystery. She will be incredibly missed by many.
