As part of The Lansing Journal’s ongoing efforts to increase sports coverage at TF South, we have asked TFS coaches to provide us with information about their matches/games. The Lansing Journal posts these scores and summaries multiple times per week in a “TFS Sports round-up.”

LANSING, Ill. (December 13, 2021) — The scores for December 11 – 13 are below:
Late reported scores for Friday, December 10
TFS Boys Basketball
Opponent: Richards High School
Score: TFS defeated Richards 67-52
TF South was lead by Caleb Newman with 19 points, Lyonel Hodges with 13 points, and Dwain Nash with 12 points. Xavier Lewis lit up the state sheet with 11 points, 8 blocks, 8 assists and 15 rebounds. TF South’s overall record is 3-4 overall and 2-1 in conference.
Opponent: Tournament at Oak Forest High School
Score: TFS lost to Oak Forest 48-24 and lost to Eisenhower 59-12.
TFS wrestled two matches vs. Oak Forest and lost both by fall. South wrestled four matches against Eisenhower and lost on three falls and one technical fall. TFS’ overall record is 2-8.
Saturday, December 11
Opponent: Buffalo Grove Tournament
Score: TFS placed 15th out of 16 teams.
TFS Girls Basketball
Opponent: Romeoville High School
Score: TFS fell to Romeoville 62-43
Tariya Wright scored 15 points during the contest, and Rayvan Rush scored 12.
Monday, December 13
Opponent: Lyons Township High School
Score: TFS lost to Lyons 2251-1991
Ethan Modjeski bowled high game for TFS with 257, and also had the high series with 483.
