MIDLOTHIAN, Ill. (August 4, 2021) – The World Wiffle Ball Championship will return to Memorial Park in Midlothian this August 14 and 15. The tournament, now in its 42nd year, will coincide with National Wiffle Ball Day on the 14th.
Each team will play with plastic bats and Wiffle Balls on miniature fields and will participate in four round-robin games on August 14. Qualifying teams will then play in a single-elimination tournament on August 15. Teams must be made of four or dive players of any ages. Proceeds from the 2021 championship will benefit South Suburban Humane Society in Chicago Heights.
Memorial Park is located at 145th Street and Homan Avenue, Midlothian, IL.
