MARKHAM, Ill. (April 9, 2019) – Student Transportation of America (STA), a leader in school transportation, safety, and fleet services, has inducted local school bus assistant manager Bobbi Davis into its Safety “Wall of Fame”, the company’s highest and most prestigious honor.

“Bobbi is the ideal assistant anyone could ask for,” said Kristie Guido, the former Terminal Manager for STA’s Markham location. “She has a heart of gold. Bobbi makes days easier with her humor and laugh. I am honored to have her on my team and win this award.”

Davis, a veteran of the student transportation industry for more than 16 years, was chosen for the award based on her impeccable attendance record and dedication to safety and policy. Davis has received attendance awards as well as safety awards, and has been awarded Employee of the Month at STA’s school bus terminal in Markham. Colleagues describe her as the most caring, kind, and respectful woman to interact with, and say that she has a rare sense of humor with an infectious laugh. Outside of work, Davis is actively involved with her church, church family and ladies ministry.

Speaking on her induction into the company’s Safety “Wall of Fame”, Davis says, “I wish I could share this with my whole team as there is no ‘I’ in team.”

The Safety “Wall of Fame” ceremony took place on March 26 in Charleston, South Carolina, with events that included an awards banquet with STA Senior Leadership and a day trip around the historic city.
