Dominic Gradford, TF North football
The senior passed for 84 yards and a touchdown, and ran for another 62 yards as the Meteors beat District 215 rival TF South 17-14 to regain the Wooden Shoe-Mushroom Trophy for the first time since 2019.
Female Athlete Spotlight
Avery Olthof, Illiana Christian girls cross country
The senior finished seventh in the Class AA race at the New Prairie Invitational, running 20:05.40 for 5,000 meters to lead the Vikings to second place among 22 full teams.
