LANSING, Ill. (June 11, 2023) – Lansing’s Walmart is working with Sergeant Dana Tatgenhorst of the Lansing Police Department to host a Bike Rodeo on Saturday that will promote bike safety. Kids up to 13 years old are invited to participate in the free event.
“Bring your bikes and helmets!” says the promotional flyer distributed by Vanh Thongsawath, Front End Coach at Walmart. Lansing police will conduct bike safety checks, and event attenders will be invited to participate in a Riders Course.
Snacks and drinks will be provided, and two raffles will give kids an opportunity to win a free bike.
Walmart is located at 17625 Torrence Avenue in Lansing.
