LANSING, Ill. (June 9, 2023) – The Lansing community kicks off a busy summer season by lining up a variety of activities for residents and guests. Josh and Melanie describe the fun in this quick video:

There is not much information on the Lan-Oak Park District website about the garage sales they are hosting, and we weren’t able to link to their flyer. The flyer says the garage sales are at Lan-Oak Park, which is at 178th Street and Arcadia in Lansing.

The Village-wide Garage Sale organized by the Village involves 165 participants throughout Lansing. The full list of addresses is available in a downloadable PDF:

The first Cruise Night of 2023 officially begins at 4 p.m. on Ridge Road. Cruise Nights are organized by the Lansing Association for Community Events (LACE), and we were able to find a flyer on the LACE Facebook page:

Fox Pointe is hosting a concert after the Cruise Night. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. for the 8 p.m. High Street concert, which is free.

Journal Java Chip ice cream at Gayety’s (3306 Ridge Road) is the perfect way to end a busy Saturday in Lansing! Each purchase benefits not only Gayety’s but also The Lansing Journal. And Fox Pointe concerts can be heard from Gayety’s back patio!
