John was a true Patriarch and lived a life of dedication to his family. His family was his world, and his Irish wit was legendary. While raising a family, John was a dedicated employee at Walsh & Kelly as a Sales Manager and Corporate Secretary and in his later years as a consultant for Site Services until 2022. He was actively engaged parishioner and volunteer at St. Joseph’s Parish in Dyer. Some of his civic duties included volunteer Dyer Fire Department & Police Commissioner, 4th degree Knights of Columbus, long time Board Member of the Friendly Sons of Erin and former member of the Dyer Lions Club. In his free time, he loved going to see his grandkids activities, playing golf, and an avid fan of the White Sox and Notre Dame. John was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
