At the start of the summer biking season, The Lansing Journal visited Greenway Bikehouse — Lansing’s only bike shop — to learn about what’s involved in a typical tune-up:
Greenway Bikehouse is on the move
Greenway Bikehouse has been operating out of the Visible Music College building, which is owned by the Village, for the past year. They anticipated being able to renovate the old Barber Rick’s building as their permanent location, but the rise in material and labor costs put those renovations out of reach.
Greenway’s new plan is to move into the space formerly occupied by Waters Edge, at 18418 Wentworth Avenue, also along the Pennsy Greenway trail, beginning July 1, 2023.
