LANSING, Ill. (May 30, 2023) – Burnham Avenue will be closed in both directions on Wednesday, May 31, between 171st Street and 173rd Street.
According to a Village of Lansing CivicReady alert, the closure is due to construction and will take place from 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Village of Lansing urges travelers on the roads during those times to find alternate routes through town.
The short closure will take place two days before a two-week closure will start at railroad crossings at Wentworth Avenue and 186th Street in Lansing.
