The Lansing Journal journeys: Padre Island National Seashore

-

submitted by Terri and Tom Stallinga

The Stallingas continue to add to their series of Journeys with the Journal with their latest submission from their most recent spring break trip to east Texas:

Terri wrote: “After stopping at the Arkansas National Wildlife Refuge, where we had hoped to catch a glimpse of a pair of whooping cranes (although they proved to be as elusive as the painted bunting is for us), we headed to our final destination — Padre Island National Seashore. After we had driven down the beach (you can do that there) and enjoyed our picnic lunch, we used our trusty selfie stick to snap this picture with The Lansing Journal as a reminder of our time on the Seashore!
