Mary Deal, nee Kovachi, age 96, of Dolton, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Harold E. Deal. Devoted mother of John (Mary) Deal. Cherished grandmother of Michelle Deal and Matthew Deal; great-grandmother of Nicolas and Nathaniel. Dear sister of Jan (Dinah) Kovachi, late Rosalind Samblis, and the late Florence Goysich.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd Street, South Holland, IL. Inurnment Holy Cross Cemetery – Calumet City, IL.
