LANSING, Ill. (February 15, 2023) – A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, with mixed precipitation expected. Temps will hover around the freezing mark throughout the day, dipping to 30 degrees mid-afternoon. Flurries could turn to snow in the evening, and total snow and sleet accumulation could reach 3 inches, with ice up to a tenth of an inch. For both the morning and evening commutes, roads could be slippery, and blowing snow is expected to reduce visibility.
