LANSING, Ill. (February 2, 2023) – A Wind Chill Advisory went into effect at 11 p.m. Thursday and continues through 10 a.m. Friday morning. Wind chills could reach as low as -20 degrees, making frostbite possible on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. An actual temp of 1 degree is forecast around sunrise Friday, and we could get as high as 14 mid-afternoon.
