Friday’s CTE Showcase gave hundreds of TF South students new career ideas

LANSING, Ill. (January 27, 2023) – District 215 has an entire department devoted to helping young people prepare for a career immediately following high school. The Career Development Department offers classes and hands-on training in “high skill, high demand areas of our labor market,” and their annual CTE Showcase exposes sophomores to a wide variety of options.   1. What a fantastic program. Kudos to all who had this vision. Not everyone is suited for college and this program gives students a vision for their future. Wonderful!

  2. I am so glad to see these opportunities high-lighted. In addition, I would like to make it known that this year the TF Golden Alumni Scholarships will be open to students who plan to attend a vocational program as well as those who are going to college!

    • Barb …i just had a rep from Ohio Technical College…a Mike Ambrose on my radio show this week…look it up on face book or twitter or utube and check it out…i intend to have several more conversations with Mike as well as some local tech schools…..my trade is hurting for techs for sure!!
