District 215 requests community input for how to improve – two forums planned

LANSING, Ill. (January 25, 2022) – Thornton Fractional School District 215 is inviting community input in the development of its multi-year strategic plan to improve the district, which incorporates TF South High School, TF North High School, the TF Center for Academics and Technology, and the TF Center for Alternative Learning.

Specifically the district is seeking input for how to improve in the areas of:

  • Climate/culture
  • Student supports
  • Family/community partnerships
  • Data
  • Building professional capacity

“As a community member you have valuable insight as we continue our mission to serve our students and communities with the highest quality educational opportunities possible,” said District 215.

The District is inviting the local community to two upcoming community forums:

  • Thursday, January 26, 5:30 p.m. at the Lansing Public Library, 2750 Indiana Avenue, Lansing
  • Thursday, February 2, 5:30 p.m. at the American Legion, 950 Legion Drive, Calumet City
