IOWA CITY, IA (January 20, 2023) – Griffin Polley of Lansing, IL, was among the more than 7,500 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the dean’s list for the 2022 fall semester. Total enrollment at the university is over 31,000.
Polley is a second-year student in Iowa’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and is majoring in English and Creative Writing. He graduated from TF South in 2020.
Dean’s list status was earned by only 2,427 first-year undergraduates during the 2022 fall semester at Iowa, only 1,768 second year students, only 1,503 third-year students, and only 1,845 fourth-year students.
Guidelines for undergraduate qualification for the list include achieving a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher on a minimum of nine semester hours, and having no incomplete semester hours or classes with no grade reported.
