LANSING, Ill. (December 3, 2022) – The Village of Lansing turned on the lights at the Fox Pointe tree display Saturday night, illluminating the forest of holiday festivity in front of a bundled crowd. The abundance of lights drew the attention of Santa Claus himself, who arrived in the bucket of a Lansing firetruck. After greeting the assembled crowd, Santa joined Mrs. Claus in the Village’s Santa House where the pair met with local families for photos and the sharing of Christmas wishes.

The festive evening marks the start of holiday cheer at Fox Pointe, as the tree display will be open to residents every day through December 30, with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Santa will also be present at the Santa House on select Fridays and Saturdays in December. Hours and dates are included in this article.
