Cobs of multi-colored corn are included in a yard display along Wildwood Avenue. Indian Corn, as it is commonly known, is often included in Thanksgiving decor as a tribute to the Native Americans who taught the colonists how to grow it. The colorful kernels are coated with a "hard as flint" shell, so this variety of corn is also known as Flint Corn. Despite its tough exterior, Flint Corn is edible by animals and humans.
