LANSING, Ill. (November 14, 2022) – “Cold with periods of snow and rain,” reports AccuWeather regarding Tuesday’s forecast for Lansing, “accumulating an inch or two.” The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 6 a.m. Tuesday through midnight, warning of slushy accumulations on roadways in parts of north central and northeast Illinois. Morning commuters should be aware of slippery road conditions, as temps will hover around the freezing mark mid-morning. Lansing could see a high of 38 degrees by early afternoon.
slight warming trend will bring the Monday high in Lansing to 43 degrees, but sun will give way to increasing clouds.
Saturday’s temps will dip into the 20s in the pre-dawn hours, and clouds will linger even after sunrise. Lansing won’t get warmer than 38 degrees, with a “RealFeel” temp of 30.
