Joan Koler (nee Fischl), age 72, of Lansing, IL, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away Friday November 4, 2022.

She was remembered by many as a faithful attendant of Lansing’s St. Ann’s Church and had a deep love of her Rottweilers, Brandy and Jade, whom she shared many memories with over the years. Her pastimes included crossword puzzles, outings with friends, and engaging conversations over apple fritters and coffee. Following her years of service as a homemaker, she went back to work as a clerk for the United States Post Office where she eventually retired. Her family’s Christmas festivities that she hosted and the smells of her numerous varieties of Christmas cookies will be missed.
