LANSING, Ill. (November 1, 2022) – Little Wolves Preschool Coordinator Elizabeth Carey confirmed that openings are still available for area families who want to begin social, emotional, and intellectual development for their preschool-aged children. The preschool is returning after a two-year COVID hiatus.

Classes are set to begin Tuesday, November 1, at 10:40 a.m., but Carey will accept applications until all openings are filled. Little Wolves Preschool runs through Thursday, May 11. The cost for the full program is $75.00.

The preschool schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10:40 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
  • Wednesdays: 10:05 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. (because of the shortened schedule at TF South on Wednesdays)

The daily schedule includes free play as well as organized activities in a combination of small-group and large-group activities. Subject areas include art, math, science, music, children’s literature, and storytelling. As an additional benefit, the lessons are created by high school students enrolled in the Child Care Practicum courses, under the direct guidance of their instructor.

“When sending your child to become a Little Wolf,” said Carey via email, “you are becoming part of something that benefits the whole community!” She encourages local families to “join our pack!”

Interested parents can email [email protected] to receive an application. Name and home address should be included in the email.
