Local Sierra Club hosts program on Climate and Equitable Jobs Act

FRANKFORT, Ill. (October 9, 2022) – The Sauk-Calumet Group of the Sierra Club will be having a program on CEJA (the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act), on October 10 at 7:15 p.m. on the Zoom online platform. CEJA was passed in Illinois last year and is transitioning the state to renewable energy and addressing climate change.

The program is “CEJA: How It Can Help You Save Money and Go Greener.” Attendees will learn more about how CEJA can directly benefit them, their business, and their community while cutting carbon emissions and creating a greener future. Illinois Sierra Club’s CEJA Ambassadors and a Citizens Utility Board (CUB) representative will be there to answer questions.
