Junior Apollonia Villalpando won the 100-yard butterfly, sophomore Aaliyah Harb won the 200-yard IM, and freshman Jael Tatum won the 50-yard freestyle.

Result: TFU lost to Thornton 39-29.

Opponents: Oak Lawn High School
Result: The Red Wolves beat Oak Lawn 187-208
The Red Wolves improve to 8-5 on the season with a victory over Oak Lawn. The match was played at Centennial Park in Munster, par 36. TFS was led by medalist Anthony Gianoli (45), Ethan Modjeski (46), Ryan Avenatti (48), and Ryan Marnell (48).
Volleyball

Result: TF South fell to Evergreen Park (25-20, 25-19)
Nyrobi Moore had three kills, Raquel Murphy had nine blocks, and Sarahi S. had 5/6 digs. The team’s conference record is 0-5.
Football
Friday, September 16
Opponent: Oak Forest High School
Result: TF South lost to Oak Forest 26-13
Christian Streeter scored on an 88-yard kickoff return, with Giovanni Melgoza booting the extra point. TFS’s other score came on another kickoff return by Jason Jones, who ran 91 yards into the end zone. The two-point conversion failed.
TFS plays next at Hillcrest on Friday, September 23.
