Scaling down pavement program, considering changes to animal code – Village Board Agenda 8/16/22

LANSING, Ill. (August 15, 2022) – The August 16 Lansing Village Board meetings begins at 7 p.m. with a the regular board meeting, and is directly followed by the Committee of the Whole meeting.

Meeting location

Lansing Village Board meetings usually begin at 7 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at the Police and Court Complex (Lansing Police Department), 2710 170th Street, Lansing.

Open Meetings Act

The Open Meetings Act requires that “An agenda for each regular meeting shall be posted at the principal office of the public body and at the location where the meeting is to be held at least 48 hours in advance of the holding of the meeting.” The Village of Lansing posts agendas and minutes from public meetings in the “Documents” section of their website, and copies are usually emailed to The Lansing Journal as well.

  1. Just what Lansing needs a reduction in street resurfacing program ! They can not keep up with the one we have now ! Not only a lot of streets need repaving but a lot of sewer work is needed with this old clay tile piping we have ! Face it a lot of our infrastructure is very old and in bsd shape ! Lets not get started on our paved alleys !
