GARY, Ind. (August 1, 2022) – Two acclaimed comedians of television fame are stopping at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana’s stage in the coming months: George Lopez and Tracy Morgan.
George Lopez: September 29
Comedian George Lopez will bring his OMG Hi! Comedy Tour to Hard Rock Live venue on Thursday, September 29. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available for purchase online at ticketmaster.com.
George Lopez broke ground for Latino comics by embracing his ethnicity and confronting racial stereotypes head on. He is currently performing stand up in arenas across the country on his OMG Hi! Comedy Tour, through 2022. Lopez begins shooting the pilot for his upcoming NBC comedy Lopez vs Lopez featuring his real-life daughter, Mayan Lopez later this fall. The sitcom about a blue-collar family is set to premiere in 2022.
His original comedy special We’ll Do It For Half for Netflix premiered globally in the summer of 2020. Lopez has four HBO specials to his credit: The Wall (2017), It’s Not Me, It’s You (2012), Tall, Dark and Chicano (2009) which was also GRAMMY nominated for Best Comedy Album, and America’s Mexican (2007).
On television, Lopez produced and starred in Lopez, a semi-autobiographical single camera sitcom for two seasons on TV Land. The series explored his struggle between two worlds and the crises that are often of his own making. In 2014, Lopez co-created and starred in the multi-camera ensemble comedy Saint George for FX. He hosted TBS’ inaugural late night talk show, Lopez Tonight, for two seasons. It represented Lopez’s return to series television after co-creating, writing, producing, and starring in Warner Bros. Television’s groundbreaking hit television sitcom George Lopez, which ran for six seasons on ABC. The show remains a hit with viewers in syndication on both broadcast stations and cable tv’s Nick at Nite, ranking as one of the top-rated shows on the network in addition to being one of the top 5 comedies and top 20 weekly programs in syndication.

Tracy Morgan: November 4
Comedian and former star of SNL and 30 Rock Tracy Morgan is bringing his No Disrespect comedy tour to Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana’s Hard Rock Live on Friday, November 4. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available for purchase online at ticketmaster.com.
Known for starring on seven seasons of NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning 30 Rock, Tracy Morgan appeared opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin as “Tracy Jordan,” the unpredictable star of “Liz Lemon’s” (Tina Fey) hit variety show, TGS with Tracy Jordan. Morgan received an Emmy Nomination in the Supporting Actor category for his work on the show and was nominated multiple years for the Supporting Actor NAACP Image Award. The cast of the show also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for best Ensemble in a Comedy Series before the beloved series came to an end in January 2013.
Tracy can currently be seen in the fourth season of TBS’ The Last OG, which he also executive produces. Most recently, Morgan can be seen in Amazon’s Coming 2 America alongside Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, Jermaine Fowler, which was released in March 2021 and the animated movie Scoob! which was released on May 14, 2020.
Morgan’s stand up special Staying Alive was released globally on Netflix in May 2017. Prior, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the 2016 class. Morgan was also nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series in 2016 for hosting an episode of the legendary Saturday Night Live.
