Gertrude Van Wienen, nee Witvliet, age 91, of Dyer, IN, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully Monday, July 25, 2022.
Beloved wife of the late Norman Van Wienen. Loving mother of Barbara Musch and Cynthia (Wesley) DeGraff. Dear grandmother of Jason Musch, Jeremy (Kim) Musch, Eric (Rebecca) DeGraff, and Amanda DeGraff; great-grandmother of Cameron, Caleb, Skylar, Olivia, Elizabeth, and Bennett. Dear sister of late Marian (late Franklin) Van Someren, Henrietta (late Ralph) Troller, and the late Joanne (late Gordon) Veld. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Jennie Witvliet.
Private visitation Friday, July 29, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane Dyer, IN with Pastor Marvin Van Someren officiating. Interment Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL.
