LANSING, Ill. (June 23, 2022) – The National Weather Service issued an Air Quality Alert that will be in effect Friday and Friday night due to widespread levels of ozone and particulate levels that are unhealthy. “Active children and adults, especially people with pulmonary or respiratory disease such as asthma, should limit prolonged outdoor activity,” reads the alert.
