Clarice Faye Boss, nee Beukema, age 91, of Beecher, IL, formerly of Lansing, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Beloved wife of the late George E. Boss. Devoted mom of Jana (Scott) Sedam, James (Ruth) Boss, Jerold (Carol) Boss, and George (Donna) Boss Jr. Proud grandma of Connor (Nikki) Sedam, Tyler Sedam, Kiernan (Brad) Taylor, Dylan (Karlye) Sedam, Jim (Tricia) Boss, Laura (Johnny) De Young, Jana (Steve) Brandenburger, Jessica (Tyler) Jabaay, Jori (Kevin) Pittman, Katie (Dean) Von Almen, Jeremy (Nicole) Boss, Joshua Boss, Ryan Boss, Kylie Boss, and Megan Boss; great-grandma of Ronan, Raika, Genevieve, Sam, Anna, Logan, Haylee, Josie, Allie, Colin, Carly, Wyatt, Jett, Aubree, Maeve, Decker, Ada, Jonah, Jude, and Josiah. Dear sister of the late Lorriane (late Dodge) Boroian, late Shirley (late Bill) Aardsma, late George (Ramona) Beukema, and Judy (Rich) Klompmaker. Preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and George Beukema. Clarice loved her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation Friday, June 24, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service at 11:45 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN with Pastor Shaun Buikema officiating. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery – Elwood, IL. Memorial contributions to Lansing Christian School (3660 Randolph St, Lansing, IL 60438) are greatly appreciated.
