LANSING, Ill. (June 20, 2022) – Tuesday’s forecast includes a high temp of 99 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Isolated thunderstorms could appear during the evening hours.

At 2:30 p.m., the National Weather Service issued a Heat Advisory in anticipation of afternoon heat index values up to 106 degrees. “High temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses to occur,” reads the advisory. As of this writing, the warning is in effect until 8 p.m.
