LANSING, Ill. (June 13, 2022) – The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory in effect from noon Tuesday through 8 p.m. Wednesday. Lansing and the surrounding area could see peak afternoon heat index values between 105 and 109 degrees. Even nighttime temperatures will remain dangerously high, with a low of 77 degrees.
