Illiana Christian senior receives National Merit Scholarship

DYER, Ind. (May 29, 2022) – Illiana Christian High School senior Oliver Postma was named a National Merit Scholar, scoring within the top one percent of all students who took the PSAT test. He was then one out of about 7,500 high school seniors nationwide chosen to receive a prestigious National Merit Scholarship. Postma plans on attending Purdue University in the fall where he will pursue an engineering degree. Postma attended Illiana Christian for all four years of his high school career. He lives with his family in St. John, Indiana.

Additionally, senior Maxwell Meter has been named a National Merit commended student. He scored in the top three to four percent on the PSAT. Meter plans on attending IU Bloomington in the fall to study marketing.

Illiana Christian High School is a private, Christian high school located at 10920 Calumet Avenue in Dyer, Indiana.
