Wayne A. Anderson, age 77, of Dyer, IN went home to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Beloved husband of Karen Anderson, nee Blank. Dear father of Bekki (Glenn) Van Deursen, Betsy (Brian) Arney, Aaron (Kari) Anderson, Jason (Lisa) Anderson, and Amanda Anderson. Loving grandfather of Collin (Jessica) Zackavec, Kelsey Van Deursen, Bradley Van Deursen, Maura Zackavec, Mac Anderson, Joel Zackavec, Henry Withrow, Claire Anderson, Hannah Anderson, Austin Anderson, Cooper Withrow, Dugan Withrow, Joshua England, Ares Anderson, Isabel Arney and Emma Arney and two great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Ron (Sue) Anderson.
Wayne loved the Lord and served him with his involvement in Gideons International and other mission causes. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed playing golf. He was loved by many and will be missed.
A visitation for family and friends will take place on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 3 – 8 p.m. at Village Church, 14849 W. 93rd Avenue, Dyer, Indiana. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Village Church with services conducted by Rev. Steve Miller.
