Thornton Township teen missing

COOK COUNTY, Ill. (May 5, 2022) – Cook County Sheriff Thomas Dart is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teen from unincorporated Thornton Township.

April Madeline Valencia, 15, was last seen by her mother outside her residence on the 2100 block of Indiana Avenue at approximately 7 p.m. on Friday, April 29.

Valencia is described as 5’3”, approximately 125 lbs., with medium, red hair, brown eyes, and light brown complexion. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black sweater, ripped jeans, and red, white, and blue in color Nike Air Jordan shoes.

Anyone with information about Valencia’s whereabouts is asked to call 911, the Cook County Sheriff’s Police at 708-865-4896, or the Cook County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number at 847-635-1188.
