LANSING, Ill. (April 19, 2022) – Lansing residents and local businesses are preparing for the Spring Wine Walk on Saturday, May 14, 2022. The Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce is organizing the event, which takes place twice a year in the spring and fall. The starting point for check-in at noon is Fox Pointe, located at 18138 Henry Street, where walk participants will receive a lanyard to identify themselves, a list of businesses to visit, one raffle ticket for a giveaway at the end of the walk, and swag bags from the Chamber members.

Fifteen businesses have signed up to participate in this year’s Wine Walk from noon to 4 p.m. and will provide small bites and tasting of red and white wines. In addition to the wine tasting, this year’s participants will be able to purchase their favorite wine from Pour on Roy at the end of the walk.

The two previous wine walks were well-received by local residents and businesses as a fun event that provides exposure for local businesses. In addition, Water’s Edge Gift Garden and Pond Center, located at 5 Ridge Road in Munster, has invited participants for brats and hot dogs after the walk.

There is still time for businesses to sign up for the Spring Wine Walk, but they must be a Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce member. Tickets are going fast to participate in the event, and are for sale at chamberoflansing.com.

The Fall Wine Walk is scheduled for October 8, 2022.
