LANSING, Ill. (April 2, 2022) – Thornton Township Board meetings. Updated mask mandates. Women’s History Month. Changes at the Chamber. Up and down temperatures. A variety of sports accomplishments. These topics and more were covered in 152 articles The Lansing Journal published during the busy month of March.
In the midst of this increase in news and the need for coverage, internally our freelance writing team has been going through adjustments as well. Job opportunities, relocations, and various other life events have changed the capacity and availability of some of our reporters for a season. Others stepped up and stepped in to get things done, and we are grateful.

The financial support you provide is what allows us to pay our reporters, host our website, and deliver a Daily News email every single morning.
