GARY, Ind. (February 18, 2022) – Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening is coming to Hard Rock Live at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana on April 9, 2022. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Jason Bonham is the son of famous Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham. Bonham followed in his father’s footsteps as a drummer and his talent was apparent as early as the age of five. He appears in the Led Zeppelin concert film The Song Remains the Same at the age of seven, playing drums alongside his father. Since his father’s passing in 1980, Bonham has performed as drummer with the remaining members of Led Zeppelin on various high profile reunion concerts including the 1988 Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary Party and the highly anticipated 2007 Led Zeppelin reunion concert at London’s O2 arena. In 1989 he formed the band Bonham which recorded four studio albums, one of which went gold.
In addition to performing with original Zeppelin members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones, Bonham has performed with dozens of other rock legends. He has shared the stage with Heart, Slash, Ted Nugent, David Gilmore, Jeff Beck, Paul Rodgers, and many other greats. In the early 2000s, Bonham was the drummer for Foreigner. And more recently, he played with Sammy Hagar and the Circle.
Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening is a heartfelt tribute to one of the greatest bands in rock history. Fans will hear the best of Led Zeppelin’s deep catalog of music, plus a few surprises. They can expect to hear music from albums Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II, Led Zeppelin III, Led Zeppelin IV, and Physician Graffiti. Bonham shares personal stories and film clips from his days growing up as a child of rock and roll royalty.
