LANSING, Ill. (February 2, 2022) – Lansing students will be staying home for a second consecutive day as weather conditions continue to impair travel. Some schools are handling the second day of cancellation differently than the first, however:

District 215

The D215 plan is the same as Wednesday, with e-learning planned for Thursday on the same schedule. The details of the schedule are available here. All sports and after-school activities are cancelled.

District 158

Though Wednesday was an e-learning day for D158, Thursday will be a traditional snow day with no remote learning. The day will be made up at the end of the year. Athletics are also cancelled.

District 171

District 171 will again conduct e-learning on Thursday.

Lansing Christian

“We received heavy snowfall, and traveling may be treacherous,” said the Lansing Christian School website, announcing the closure of school on Thursday.
