SSC site will resume testing and vaccination services after weather cancellations on Wednesday and Thursday

SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (February 1, 2022) – South Suburban College’s Main Campus is now providing free vaccinations and testing services seven days a week from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. in South Holland. Vaccination options include Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson doses and boosters. The drive-thru set up is located within the Northwest Parking Lot at 15800 South State Street, South Holland, Illinois. While no appointment is necessary, individuals seeking testing may save time by pre-registering online from https://rebrand.ly/idph.

The site will be closed on Wednesday, February 2, and Thursday, February 3 due to weather.

Pursuant to Executive Order #87 signed by Governor J.B. Pritzker on August 26, 2021, all employees, students and regular visitors of South Suburban College are required to either be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or be subject to at least weekly COVID-19 testing. SSC has implemented the CLEARED4 compliance system to enforce the mandate on campus by validating an individual’s vaccination status with a Blue Pass or negative test with a Green Pass via smart device. More information is available online from ssc.edu/covid19. Self-registration is also available for regular campus visitors from www.ssc.edu/c19vax.
