  1. Lansing Journal is doing a fine job with the weather, but our great police department is slacking off ! with accidents and stuff but they need to enforce the snow ordinance . It snowed enough for the plows and salters to be out so they should be out giving tickets municipal or not to violaters to the snow ordinance. They have no trouble writting when it is warm out but it gets a little chili or snows you don’t see them. I have a lady in my neighborhood that violates constantly and no village stickers on either car. She says she does not have to abide because she is a renter. Granted the plates come back to somewhere else but they are her cars. Parked there 24/7 most of the time unless she is using one. Lansing could make a lot of money plus helping out the plow drivers with an already tough job ! Normaly our police department is excellent !
