Shirley Lynn Vos, nee Gorter, age 71, of Beecher, IL, went home to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Beloved wife of Jerry Vos. Loving mother of Trisha (Patrick) Stingel, Jerry R. (Colleen) Vos, Jennifer Vos, and John R. (Edwin) Vos. Cherished grandmother of Garrett, Quinn, Elviz, Ismael, Samantha, Luis, and Cristian; great-grandmother of Madeline, Evette, and Linnea. Dear sister of Cindy (David) Groenendal, Nancy Koedyker, and Barbara (Jerry) Pond. Preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Alice Gorter.
Visitation Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN with Rev. Dr. Brian Dennert officiating.
