Cornelius W.H. “Case” Nymeyer, age 85, of Crete, IL, went home to his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Beloved husband of Anna Mae Nymeyer, nee Van Baren. Loving father of Lisa (Kenneth) Adams, Kelly Nymeyer, Hugh (Tracy) Nymeyer, and Gregory Nymeyer. Cherished grandfather of Luke, Brian, and Chloe Adams, and Olivia Nymeyer. Preceded in death by four brothers and one sister, and by his parents Frederick and Cornelia Nymeyer.
Visitation Friday, December 3, 2021, from 3:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30/Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN. Funeral Service Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at Cornerstone Protestant Reformed Church, 13251 – 109th Ave., St. John, IN 46373, with services conducted by Rev. Audred Spriensma. A private family burial service will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL.
