Darald R. Uittenbogaard, age 87, of South Holland, IL went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October, 12, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Marlene D. Uittenbogaard, nee Stalman. Loving father of Cynthia (late Jim) Meyer, Rick (Barb) Uittenbogaard, and Darlene “Dee” Uittenbogaard. Devoted grandfather of Michelle Schuurman, Michael (Danielle) Schuurman, Nora (Bill) Kornblum, Mark (Angela) Uittenbogaard, and Kent (Danita) Uittenbogaard; great-grandfather of Landon, Callie, Madelyn, and Pippa Schuurman, Julia and Andrew Uittenbogaard, and Willow Kornblum. Dear brother of Carol (late Henry) Vis. Preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Francis Uittenbogaard.
A private family funeral service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd Street, South Holland, IL with services conducted by Pastor Cary Gephart. Interment, Chapel Hill Gardens South – Oak Lawn, IL.
