William K. Evenhouse, Sr., was born in Chicago, IL on March 5, 1941 and has journeyed home to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 30, 2021 in Crown Point, IN. Beloved husband of the late Shirley J. Evenhouse, nee Sturwold for 58 years. Shirley passed away the week before Bill on September 22, 2021. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother and will be dearly missed. His children include Laura (Steve) Dykstra, William (Cathy) Evenhouse Jr., and Chad (Jessalynn) Evenhouse. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy, they include Kylee (Mike) Olson and Madi Dykstra, Paige Conroy, Brooke (Kyle) Knabenhans, and Logan Evenhouse, and Skyelyn, Savannah, and Chesney Evenhouse; he has two great-grandchildren, Callum and Maeve Olson. Dear brother of the late Carol (Garrett) Tameling, late Joan (John) Swaagman, Doris (Rich) Brander, and Ken (Ruth) Evenhouse. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Martha Evenhouse, and his first granddaughter Larissa Joy Dykstra. Bill deeply loved our Lord and Savior and was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Crown Point, IN.
