TFS Golf
Opponent:Â Lincoln-Way East
Score:Â TFS falls to Lincoln-Way East (179-152)
TFS matched up against Lincoln-Way East in a two-person scramble at Green Gardens Country Club in Frankfort. Junior Nicholas Rincon and freshman Ryan Marnell shot 43 and junior Ryan Avenatti and sophomore Andrew Danehl shot 44 to pace TFS.
September 16
TFS Girls Tennis
Opponent: Tinley Park High School
Score: TFS takes three of five matches against Tinley Park.
Both singles matches went to Tinley Park and all three doubles matches went to TFS. The doubles pairs were Jessica Mafo and Murphy Barnum, Vanessa Sanchez and Aliza Olivares, and Godiva Tordjo and Trinity Burton.
TF United Soccer
TF North and South have a combined soccer team, called TF United.
Opponent: Harold L. Richards High School
Score: TFS beats Richards 1-0.
The lone goal in Thursday’s match was scored by Lexani Gaines. Jesus Puerta had 7 saves in the shutout. TFU remains perfect in conference play, notching its third win. Their total season record is 5-2.
TFS Girls Volleyball
Opponent: Hillcrest High School
Score: TFS beats Hillcrest (25-12, 25-13).

September 17
TFS Football
Opponent: Tinley Park High School
Score: TFS beats Tinley Park 35-14.
Friday night’s game at Tinley Park showcased a variety of scorers for TFS. Jacob Urdiales threw to Willie Roberts for a touchdown, Urdiales ran a touchdown into the end zone himself, and Ernest Temple had two rushing touchdowns. Another touchdown was provided by the defense when Joe Lindsey ran an interception for a touchdown. Brandon Woods added a two-point conversion in the game and kicker Ivan Villalobos kicked three extra points.
TFS had 187 total rushing yards, with 148 of them going to Temple. Urdiales tallied 71 passing yards on 6/10 completions. TFS gathered 211 total yards after penalties in Saturday’s victory.
