Calvin E. DrenthCalvin E. Drenth Sr., age 83 of New Lenox, IL formerly of Lansing, IL went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 3, 2021. Beloved husband of Alice Drenth, nee Zoeteman. Loving father of Calvin (Bonnie) Drenth Jr. and Susan (David) Von Borstel. Devoted grandfather of Calvin (Lauren) Drenth III, Jacob Drenth, Benjamin Drenth, and Katie Drenth, Jordan Von Borstel, Joshua (Ellie) Von Borstel, and Chad Von Borstel and great-grandfather of Harper Drenth. Dear brother of the late James (late Sylvia) Drenth, late Edna (Ray) Meeter, Lucille (late Ray) Zoeteman, and Judy (late Clyde) Beuster. Preceded in death by his parents Nickolas and Louise (nee Tysen) Drenth.

Cal was a U.S. Army Veteran. He loved his Lord and his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 3 – 8 p.m. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd Street, South Holland, IL. A visitation will also take place on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Orland Park Christian Reformed Church, 7500 Sycamore Drive, Orland Park, IL with services conducted by Rev. Daniel Roeda. Memorial contributions may be given to the car ministry at Orland Park C.R.C.
