LANSING, Ill. (August 22, 2021) – Seven bands, hundreds of people, and countless plates of barbecue made Friday and Saturday at Fox Pointe a delight for all ages as the second “Blues, Brews, and BBQ Fest” took center stage.
Following 2019’s fest which took place on a Saturday and Sunday in July, this year’s event started bringing the blues to listeners on Friday from 5 – 10:30 p.m. and resumed on Saturday from 3 – 10:30 p.m.
The seven bands that performed this year were The Muddsharks, Jimmy Nick & Don’t Tell Mama, The Nick Moss Band, The Smiley Tillmon Band, Funky Mojo Daddy, Stoney Curtis Band, and The Steepwater Band.
Eating and listening weren’t the only pastimes enjoyed by attendees:
The next act scheduled to perform at Fox Pointe is Mike & Joe, a “modern rock cover band.”
