I’ll help The Lansing Journal offer expanded sports coverage for the Lansing community
Increased sports coverage is something our community deserves. Not just football, basketball, and baseball — our community deserves to know about all the sports our student athletes are competing in.
Quality community coverage requires community investment. The Lansing Journal can offer expanded coverage at a cost of $11,400/year. That breaks down to $950/month — or 95 people giving $10 per month.
I’m saying YES —
Will you be one of the 95?
Will you be one of the 95 partners The Lansing Journal needs to contribute at least $10 per month? With your help, we can offer our community expanded sports coverage that recognizes our local student athletes.

3 stories per week
With community support, The Lansing Journal wants to publish at least 3 sports articles each week. Some will be a simple round-up of scores and highlights; some will be detailed in-person coverage of a particular game or match. Their reporting will include student names, coach names, photos, scores, stats, and original writing by local reporters.
$10 per month — who will help?
Are there 95 TF South families who are willing to support our community newspaper so that they can keep the community informed about your TF South students?
Are there 95 TF South students who have $10 to invest in the community newspaper that is investing in them?
Are there 95 TF South alumni who remember the coaches and the crowds and the pride of seeing your name in the paper the next day — and who want today’s student athletes to have that same thrill?
Are there members of the broader community who would sign up to support this expanded sports coverage as well as all the local news The Lansing Journal reports, publishes, and delivers every day?
Just $10/month — that’s less than the larger newspapers charge, and we get so much more from our hometown paper.
